Thomas Edison Martin passed away Dec. 15, 2017, after a long illness. He was born April 12, 1944, to Thomas Edward Martin and Dorothy Alice (Webber) Martin in Geneva, Indiana. Tom graduated from Dunkirk High School in May of 1962.
He served his country four years in the military and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed reading and traveling.
His father, Thomas E. Martin, and mother, Dorothy A. (Webber) Martin, preceded him in death. He also had a brother, David, who past April 19, 2015.
He has three sisters who remain, Barbara J. Dollier (husband: Lloyd, deceased), Linda L. Fowler (husband: Richard “Butch,” deceased) and Kathy S. Leitko and her husband, Dennis Leitko.
Funeral services for Tom will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
