Library events
There are plenty of programs for children at Jay County Public Library to bring some fun to the long winter months.
The reading program Tic Tac Toe/Book 3 In A Row is in full swing at the library for children through age 12 and will continue through March.
Specific books need to be read to cross off spaces on a tic tac toe board. Once a tic tac toe is made, cards can be turned in for a sticker and chance to win a prize.
Programs for preschoolers will include Story and Fun Time at 10 a.m. each Monday. After a story is read, there will be hands-on-activities.
Mother Goose will visit the library at 10 a.m. each Friday to encourage children to dance, sing and play music.
