Area students graduate from BSU

Area students graduated from Ball State University in December of 2016.

Earning degrees from Portland were Tory Compton - Associate in Arts; Sophia Benedict - Bachelor of General Studies; Carly Cline, Jocelyn Mann, Alex Sutton-Bachelor of Science; Adam Foster - Master of Business Administration.

From Dunkirk was Chance Fuller - Bachelor of Arts.

From Bryant were Elizabeth Hurst - Bachelor of Fine Arts; Holly Wellman-Bachelor of Science.

From Redkey was Gina Cummings - Master of Arts.



Internships available

Congressman Jim Banks is accepting applications for full and part-time interns for his Fort Wayne district office.

College students and recent college graduates are preferred for the unpaid internships that will give an inside view of how a Congressional district office functions and an understanding of the various branches of government and how they interact.

Interns will interact with constituents, answer phones, perform administrative work, research federal regulations and legislation a do word processing.
