Fort banquet to be held
Fort Recovery Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Citizen of the Year & Hall of Fame Banquet on March 12 in the Fort Recovery Middle School Auditeria.
The Citizen of the Year Award will be presented to the person who has given outstanding service to the Fort Recovery community during 2016 and the Hall of Fame Awards will be given to those who have given in past years.
Tickets for the banquet are available from any chamber member or by calling (419) 375-2530.
Dean’s list
Area students were named to the Fall 2016 Dean’s List at Ball State University.
From Geneva were Andrea Buck, Drea Kolkinn, Adrienne Pursley and Samantha Schwartz; from Bryant were Dillon Ainsworth, Caleb Fifer, Rick Fortkamp, Danielle Heitkamp, Lyla Muhlenkamp and Mikayla Wellman.
From Portland were Sophie Bader, Sammi Compton, Kaylee Compton, Kaylee Evans, Lindsey Green, Erica Guntle, Patricia Hein, Stephanie Hudson, Jessica Kerrigan, Tiffany Laux, Heather Lugar, Hope Lugar, Savanna Mace, Jordan McBride, Lilly McClung, Brock McFarland, Jessica Mills, Abigail Reier, Erin Rose, Lauren Runkle, Anne Vormohr, Shelby Wendel and Emily Westgerdes.
