Maxine Melching

Maxine Melching, 96, died Sunday at Covington Meadows in Fort Wayne. 

Born in Jackson Township in Jay County to Leslie and Nellie Pensinger, she was preceded in death by her husband Max Melching.

Surviving are two daughters, Diane Melching and Marcia Rodenbeck (husband: Philip), both of Fort Wayne; a brother; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be sent to Broadway Christian Church INASMUCH Ministries.

Arrangements are being handled by D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home.
