NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT: Milestone Contractors, L.P., 105 E Lafayette Street, Portland, IN, have ?led with the City of Portland Plan Commission a petition, #MapCh2017-02-10, requesting a Map Change to the zoning regulations, to wit:

Parcel ID: Purchasing 14 +/- acres from Parcel

Location: 1xxx S 200 W, Portland, IN, between CR 175 S and CR 200 S, on the East side, Wayne Township, Section 30

Action Requested: Requesting the rezoning of said property from Agricultural Residential (AR) to Industrial (IND) for the purpose to install and operate an asphalt plant on this site. The sale of the property is contingent on the rezoning approval

A public hearing will be held by said Plan Commission on March 02, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. at the Community Resource Building, 118 S Meridian Street, Portland, Indiana.

The petition and file on this matter are available for view at the Jay/Portland Building & Planning Department, 118 South Meridian Street / Suite E, Portland, Indiana, 47371. If unable to attend the hearing, any statement setting forth any facts or opinions relating to the matter must be presented in writing to the Jay/Portland Building & Planning Department not less than ten (10) days before the meeting.
