Cultural arts classes set
Taking Note
The 16th Annual Spring Great Lakes Native American Cultural Arts Classes will be held on April 1 and 2 in the Women’s Building at Jay County Fairgrounds.
Classes will be offered insweet grass weaving, personal hand drums, porcupine quillwork and fur trade items and there will also be children’s classes for those six and older.
Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 1. Classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Classes on Sunday, April 2, will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Purdue meeting
Anyone wanting to learn more about Purdue Extensionis invited the the Jay County Purdue Extension Advisory Council Annual Meeting.
It will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, at the Jay County 4-H Building.
The evening will include dinner, a brief report from the Extension staff and a presentation by Jeff Boyer, superintendent of Davis-Purdue Age Center.

Play set
Adams Central High School Music Department will host the spring musical “Is There A Doctor in The House?” at 7 p.m. on March 9, 10 and 11.
Also an elementary, middle and high school art show can be viewed before the performances.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students. Reserve tickets are available by calling the high school at (260) 692-6151 and will be available at the door beginning at 6 p.m.
