NOTICE TO BIIDDERS

The Town of Redkey, Indiana will receive sealed competitive proposals (referred to as “bids”) for contract for the collection, storage and disposal of solid waste from within the corporate limits of the Town of Redkey, Indiana at the Redkey Park Cabin, 200 South Mooney Street, Redkey, Indiana 47373, until 6:00 p.m. on March 16, 2017 and then publicly open and read aloud at the regular Town Council meeting at 200 South Mooney Street, Redkey, Indiana at 6 p.m. Proposals received after such time will be returned

unopened.

Copies of the general plans and specifications may be examined at the Redkey Town Hall, 8922 West State Road 67, Redkey, IN between the hours of 8:00 am. and 4:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and

Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

All bidders will be required to provide Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statements and Non-Discrimination Agreements. All bidders will also be required to submit a financial statement, a statement of experience, a listing of the equipment that the bidder has available for the performance of

the contract and proof of insurance.

The Town of Redkey, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any proposal, or to waive all informalities/irregularities in the bidding. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding sixty (30) days from the due date for the purpose of revealing and investigating qualifications of contractors prior to the award of work.
