JCHS honor roll is named

Graduates

Wesley Price, Dunkirk, graduated from Purdue University on Dec. 18 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics.



Patriots place second

Patriot Winter Guard at Jay County High School placed second in competition on Saturday at Greenwood High School with a score of 52.61.

Winchester won the competition with a score of 52.9.

They will compete again this Saturday at 11:56 a.m. at Mt. Vernon High School.

 

Dean’s list 

Alyssa N. Hartley, Portland, a 2016 graduate of Jay County High School, was named to the 2016 fall semester dean’s list at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. 

She is a sophomore majoring in agriculture. 

Zane Shreve, Redkey, and Melissa Knapke, Fort Recovery,  were named to the first semester dean’s list at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Robert D. Myers, Portland, was named to the fall term dean’s list at Hanover College.

Amelia Freeman, Portland, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Anderson University. She is a sophomore studying music education.

Kyra Braun, Portland, was named to the dean’s list at Trine University in Angola. She is  studying accounting.
