Hummel's celebrate golden anniversary
Herb and Margaret Hummel, 1107 S. Detroit Ave., Portland, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.
They were married on Feb. 3, 1967, by the Rev. Hershel Burkett.
Herb is co-pastor of Portland Friends Church and Margaret is retired from Pennville Custom Cabinets.
The couple are the parents of Jerry Hummel (wife: Miranda), and Dean Hummel (wife: Tammy). They also have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
