Felony arrests
Possession
Several arrests for drug-related offenses were made Tuesday and this morning.
William J. Kelley, 53, 109 N. 16th St., Decatur, was arrested on the preliminary charge of unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony. He was booked at 12:44 a.m. today into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $3,000 bond.
Abby M. Romine, 27, 604 Katelyn Drive, Portland, was also arrested on the preliminary charge of unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony. She was booked at 1:00 a.m. today into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $3,000 bond.
Two brothers were also arrested Tuesday afternoon on possession charges.
Aaron L. Wilhem, 29, 122 S. Hayes St., Portland, was arrested on a warrant for possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony. He was booked at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday into Jay County Jail and was later released on a $8,000 bond.
Andrew A. Wilhelm, 31, same address, was also arrested on a warrant for possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony. He was booked at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $6,000 bond.
Possession
A Portland woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon on several drug-related charges.
Nicole R. Stone, 27, 997 S. Boundary Pike, was arrested on warrants for two counts of unlawful possession of a syringe and three counts of possession of a narcotic drug, all Level 6 felonies, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor.
She was booked at 4:26 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there without bond.
Probation violation
A Fort Wayne man was arrested Tuesday night for violating his probation.
Jason A. Zent, 31, 5811 Heather View Lane, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on the earlier charge of domestic battery, a Level 6 felony.
He was booked at 10:56 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $1,500 bond.
