Burgess couple celebrates 60th
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Burgess, 105 Silvers Lane, Portland, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.
Wilbur retired from Teledyne Portland Forge in 2001.
The couple are the parents of Jeffery Burgess, Loveland, Colorado, and Lucinda Jackson, Sumter, South Carolina. They also have four grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
They are planning to travel to Colorado and South Carolina this summer.
