Wasps stay unbeaten in Pennville Soccer
Duckworth, Vinson both score four goals in 13-2 win
Vinson Rental Properties Wasps remained undefeated Saturday as it defeated Progressive Office Products Bees 13-2 in the Stinger Division of Pennville Soccer League.
Jazlynn Duckworth and Camdin Vinson both had four goals for the Wasps (3-0). Alex Gaskill notched a hat trick, while Ella Crump and Noah Wentz each scored a goal.
Caden Buckley and Norah Heath tallied goals for the Bees (0-3).
In the same division, all seven players scored for Suman Brothers Hornets in a 16-2 win over I.D.C. Restaurant Yellow Jackets.
Malaki Hart led the way with five goals and Wiley Simos tallied four.
Dimari Bledsoe and Breck Smith both scored twice, while Jaxon Brooks, Cora Freiburger and Gage Heckman had one goal apiece for the Hornets (2-1).
Hunter Coleman and Olivia Erhart found the back of the net for the Yellow Jackets (1-2).
Nate’s Kustom Painting & Auto Body Repair Comets handed Critter Control Asteroids their first loss in a 3-2 win during Space division action.
Jacob Barry scored twice for the Comets (3-1), with Cristian Carreno adding the other tally. Aryan Montes had both goals for the Asteroids (3-1).
Later in the day, the Asteroids rebounded from the loss, breaking a 2-2 tie with three second half goals in a 5-2 win over Adair Processing Galaxy. Montes scored all five goals for the Asteroids, while Toby Wenger provided all the offense for the Galaxy (0-4).
In the Wildcat division, Pennville Lions lost both of its games to fall to 0-4. It dropped a 4-3 score to Patriot Sportswear Tigers (3-1) before a 5-1 loss to Hanlin Real Estate Lions.
Carson Bringer had two goals for the Tigers, with James Jernigan and Dane Rector each scoring once.
Sheldon Minch notched two goals for the Jaguars, who also got single marks from Gabe Pinkerton, Brendan Runyon and Madison Springer.
George Weesner scored all four goals on the day for the Lions.
