Inman U-Loc eked out a 7-6 victory over PG-14 on Monday in Willie Mays action of Portland Junior League.
Ryan Timmerman hit three singles, drove in a run and scored once for Inman. Jayden Comer, Gage Sims, Grant Wendel and Lucas Strait all had a pair of singles. Comer drove in a pair of runs, while Sims, Wendel and Strait each had one RBI. Wendel also scored twice.
Tony Wood hit a double and a single in the loss for PG-14. He also scored once and drove in a run. Ryne Goldsworthy, Landon Blowers and Ricardo Nava each contributed a double and a run, while Maddox Huffman tallied a single, a run and an RBI. Blowers also had an RBI.
Snow leads Ponderosa
Nick Snow collected three doubles and a home run on Monday, leading Ponderosa Steakhouse to a 21-13 victory over Williams Auto Parts in PJL’s Rookie baseball division.
Gavin Byrum chipped in two singles and a pair of doubles, while Maverick Reier had a double and three singles. Grant Fennig had three singles, while Roman and Porter Clamme both had base hits.
Kevin Dues was 3-for-3 with two singles and a double in the loss for Williams. Joe Geesaman hit a double and a single, while Dawson Goldsworthy and Carter Hartman both ripped a pair of singles.
Lions wins 11-7
Portland Lions Club picked up an 11-7 victory over Kiwanis in Portland Junior League’s Willie Mays division.
Isaac Scott blasted a triple, a double and two singles to lead Lions Club. Isaac Miller had a double and two singles, while Zach McAbee tallied two singles. Timo Minnich and Austin Jellison both recorded hits.
Bryce Wenk hit a triple and a double for Kiwanis, which also got a pair of doubles from Cody Rowles. Austin Curtis, Cavan Hartzell and Carter Barton each had singles.
Montes powers Pak-A-Sak
Aryan Montes hit two home runs, a double and a single in powering Pak-A-Sak to a 15-2 victory over Barnett’s Auto Parts on Monday in PJL’s Rookie baseball.
Alex Miller also had four hits in support of Montes. Trevor Jones, Braden O’Brien and Cooper Reynolds all collected three hits, while Eli Stockton, Freddie Lingo and Tyce Foreman tallied two hits apiece.
Memphis Torre, Boston Barnett and Oaklan Ingram each recorded multi-hit games. Skyler Esparza, Benson Barnett, Kasen Ferguson and Chase Baxter all had singles.
