Schwietermans celebrate

Walter and Frieda Schwieterman, 2357 N. 700 East, Portland, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

Walter married Frieda Huelsman on June 17, 1967, at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Ohio.

Frieda works as a receiving clerk at Peyton’s Northern in Bluffton and Walter is retired from Fort Recovery Industries and from farming.

They are the parents of Dennis Schwieterman (wife: Karen), Portland, Brenda Whitacre (husband: Michael), and Lisa Fullenkamp (husband: Mark), all of Fort Recovery, Carolyn Adgalanis (husband: Peter), Fort Wayne, Cindy Homan (husband: Rodney), Fort Recovery, Bill Schwieterman (wife: Jill), Celina, Ohio, and Dale Schwieterman (wife: Nicole), Portland. They also have 25 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

The couple will celebrate with a Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Portland, followed by a family dinner.
