Billy J. Zent, 87, Peoria, Arizona, died Sunday at Hospice of the Valley in Glendale, Arizona.
Born in Madison County to the Rev. Dewey Jefferson and Lulu Leona (Mendenhall) Zent, he attended Pennville High School.
He married Ruth Ann Rees on Feb. 1, 1948, in Jay County, and she preceded him in death.
A Wells County farmer for many years, he had also worked for Terry Cycle Sales in Ossian and attended Lakeside Baptist Church in Peoria.
Survivingare three daughters, Kathie Mounsey, Poneto, Connie Benefiel (husband: John), Sun City, Arizona, and Vickie McCollum (husband: Terry), Peoria, Arizona; six grandchildren,; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great—grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m Tuesday at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier with Pastor Jody Mounsey officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery inWarrren .
Visitation is noon to 7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
