Dance party is Saturday

Come and dance to the oldies on vinyl at a free dance party from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Dunkirk Elks Lodge.

The event will be hosted by John “J.T.” Phillips.

Arts Place MusicWorks student Sawa Yamaguchi recently won a gold medal at the Indiana State Music Association Solo & Ensemble contest.



Genealogy workshop

Friends of the Library are sponsoring a free workshop for those who are interested in beginning genealogy research on their families.

Board certified genealogist Karen Bennett will teach the workshop to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, at Fort Recovery Public Library.
