Youngers celebrate 50th anniversary
David and Jean Younger, Pennville, are celebrating their 50th anniversary today.
David married Jean Powell on March 4, 1967, at Redkey Nazarene Church.
Jean is a seamstress and David is retired and sings with the Christianaires.
The couple are the parents of nine children, Tim Younger (wife: Lorrie) and Wendy Jester (husband: Jerry), both of Dunkirk, Rosa Carrigan (husband: Kyle), Portland, Amanda Wormor, Pennville, Travis Younger (wife: Courtney), Muncie, Danny Younger, Michigan, Angie Younger, Redkey, and Katie and Alexis Younger, at home. They also have 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
They plan to celebrate at home with their children.
