LifeStream will discuss Elder Law at area presentations.
The talks will focus on advance directives — a guide to a person’s wishes regarding future medical care and treatments if they aren’t able to make decisions because of illness or incapacity.
Presentations will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. May 18 at Winchester Community Library; from 10 to 11 a.m. on May 23 at Jay County Public Library; and 10 to 11 a.m. on May 24 at Blackford County YMCA.

Open house
The Jay County Historical Society Museum, 903 E. Main St., Portland, will hold an open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in honor of the last graduating class of Madison High School, fifty years ago.
Special displays will include Jack Imel’s marimba, antique toys, artwork by Steve McClung and an 1850s piano from Pennville donated by Richard Hidy.
