David and Sally Carlson, 115 Rayburn Drive, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
They were married on Nov. 5, 1967, at First Methodist Church (now Asbury United Methodist Church) in Portland, with the Rev. Floyd Elliott officiating.
Sally worked for United Telephone Company as a long distance operator and David worked at his parents’ Western Auto store in Portland. He later worked in sales for Super Supply, Hanni Plumbing and Liechty Brothers of Berne.
The couple celebrated earlier this year with trips to Arlington, Virginia, and Hilton Head, South Carolina.
