Jayland Partners to host Country Christmas

Jayland Partners will host its annual party for those with special needs and their families and caregivers.
Country Christmas will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 9, at Bryant Wesleyan church, 209 S. Hendricks St.
Refreshments will be served and the Larry Grier Community Champion Award will be presented.
Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information, call (317) 727-9223.
Movie break
Kids will be out of school next week for Thanksgiving break and Jay County Public Library will celebrate with a movie double header on Wednesday.
“Alvin and the Chipmunks” will play from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and “Turkey Hollow” will play from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The Arts Place is Golden Series continues at Arts Place Portland Center during Winterfest weekend.
The Barefoot Movement, a Nashville based bluegrass group, will perform a down-home Christmas show at 8 p.m. on Dec. 1.
Tickets can be purchased at Arts Place, 131 E. Walnut St., by calling (260) 726-4809 or at Artsland.org.
