Jay grad becomes president

A graduate of Jay County High School was recently named President of the Indiana Music Teachers Association.
Amy (Rockwell) Chaplin is a 1999 graduate of JCHS where she was a member of the Swing Choir, the theatre department and the marching band.
Chaplin earned a master of music degree in piano pedagogy and performance from Ball State University and a bachelor of music in choral education K-12 from Huntington University.
She runs Studio 88 in Bluffton, where she teaches private piano and group lessons and ukulele lessons. She writes the blog PianoPantry.com.
Holiday bingo
The public is invited to Holiday bingo for seniors at the Arthur & Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion in Berne.
Those 55 and older are welcome to play at 1 p.m. Friday.
