Akers celebrate 50th
Mike and Linda Aker, 703 W. Walnut St., Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Mike married Linda Hutchens on Oct. 6, 1967, in Portland.
Linda retired from the Jay School Corporation and Mike retired from G & G Oil, Muncie.
They are the parents of Brad Aker (wife: Connie), Bryant, Lori Ferguson, Portland, Chad Aker (wife: Jill), Portland, and Matt Aker, deceased, (wife: Brooke). They have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
