Author, illustrator to visit Jay Public Library
Taking Note
An author and illustrator will visit Jay County Public Library in November.
Judy Bruns from Ohio, the author of “Thousand Dollar Baseball” and the book’s illustrator Kathy Salyer Ayers,art teacher at Jay County High School, will speak at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2.
The story is about a neighborhood baseball game that took place in Fort Recovery when Bruns was a child. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

West Jay Middle School named its Students of the Month for October.
In sixth grade was Alana Trissel - parents Shane and Kristi Trissel.
In seventh grade was Courtney Benter - parents Scott and Brenda Benter.
In eighth grade was Quinn Faulkner - parents John and Holly Faulkner.
