Robertses celebrating 50th anniversary
Joel and Connie Roberts, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Joel married Connie Haworth on Sept. 15, 1967, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester.
Connie retired as a teacher from the Jay School Corporation in 2006 and Joel retired as Judge of Jay Superior Court in 2008 and then served as a Senior Judge until 2016.
The couple are the parents of three daughters, Kimberly Janak (husband: Chris), Zionsville, Lexie Hughes (husband: Pat), Elmhurst, Illinois, and Kristen Dahling (husband: Brad), Zionsville. They have 10 grandchildren.
They will be celebrating with family at Lake Geneva in Geneva, Wisconsin.
