Donathans celebrate 50th
Bill and Frances Donathan, 614 N. Main St., Dunkirk, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Bill married Frances Denard on Sept. 16, 1967, and Westwood Baptist Church in West Columbia, South Carolina.
Frances is a substitute teacher for Jay School Corporation and a former instructional assistant and Bill retired from General Telephone/Verizon.
The coupleare the parents of Greg Donathan (wife: Elizabeth), Springfield, Illinois, Janice McGalliard (husband: Brian), Dunkirk, and Chad Donathan, deceased. They also have 12 grandchildren.
An anniversary trip to Michigan is planned, followed by a family dinner and celebration.
