A long-time Redkey business is set to shut its doors.
Wills Market is set to close at 6 p.m. today.
Owner Gary Wills said a lack of profitability and the new Dollar General being built just to the west on Indiana 67 “made the decision simple.”
Wills has run the business since 1982, retiring two times when his son and then his daughter ran it.
“We’re a dying breed,” Wills said of being an independent businessman. “Life goes on.”
The building is for sale.
“We appreciate all the business,” Wills said.
