In front of the first sell-out crowd of the season, the Fort Wayne TinCaps defeated the?Great Lakes Loons (Los Angeles?Dodgers) 7-2 at Parkview Field.
It was the first time this season Fort Wayne (4-9)?won back-to-back games, and it was the first series win of the season for the TinCaps.
Fort Wayne, which will go for the series sweep at 7:05 p.m. tonight, broke a shutout with two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and added five more one inning later, as Gabriel Arias, Luis Campusano, Juan Fernandez and Justin Lopez all had RBI singles.?Campusano drove in two.
Notes: Campusano is batting 5-for-12 with a home run and seven RBIs in his last three games at Parkview Field ... Starting pitcher Aaron Leasher tossed six scoreless innings, allowed two singles and two walks to go with his seven strikeouts.
