Fort Wayne was held without a hit for the first five innings on Thursday as it dropped the series finale to the Great Lakes Loons (Los Angeles?Dodgers) 10-1 at Parkview Field.
The Loons (3-8) scored three times in the first inning, twice in the second and four times in the third to build its lead.
Jack Suwinski put Fort Wayne (4-10) on the board in the sixth inning with a sacrifice fly, then hit an?RBI double in the eighth. He finished the night 1-for-2.
Notes: Fort Wayne’s Jeisson Rosario drew three walks for the fourth time in five games ... The TinCaps went 2-1 against the Loons for their first series win of the year ...
