Burks celebrated 50th anniversary
Jim and Sue Burk, 124 Bittersweet Lane, Portland, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family at the Palm Crest Hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Jim married Sue Balle on March 10, 1968, at Asbury Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Stephenson officiating.
Sue is the administrative assistant at Zion Lutheran Church and Jim is retired from Portland Forge.
The couple are the parents of Jeff Burk (wife: Terri), Portland, and the late Michael Burk. They have three grandchildren.
