Stephen M. Antrim, age 79, 1390 W. 200 South, Portland, passed away on Thursday evening at his residence.
He was born in Elwood, Indiana, March 28, 1939, the son of Ermal and Ruby Leona (Hartley) Antrim. He was married Aug. 15, 1958, to Sue Porter who survives. He was a graduate of Frankton High School. He was a farmer and a bus driver for Jay School Corporation. He also worked at Walmart.
Surviving are his wife Sue; two sons, Todd Antrim (wife: Jani Jo) of Las Vegas and Tim Antrim (wife: Lora) of Portland; one daughter, Tammy Jackson of Muncie; two sisters, Sue Ann David (husband: John) of Elwood and Alice DelCroix (husband: Bob) of Rochester, New York; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Troy Antrim.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Hundley presiding.
Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
