Harris couple celebrates 55th

Mr. and Mrs. Neal and Carole Harris, 7711 W. 600 South, Redkey, are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary today.

C. Neal Harris and M. Carole Snodgrass were wed on Aug. 17, 1963 at Deerfield Methodist Church.

He is retired as a moldmaker for Littler Diecasting, and she is a sanitation engineer.

The couple are the parents of four daughters, Tonja Lynne McDonald (husband: Tim), Celina, Ohio; Esther Rene Harris, Redkey; Rachel Stephenson (husband: Charles), Marion; and Liz Newman Stump, Portland. They will celebrate with a trip to McCormick’s Creek State Park.
