Ryan Crabtree

Ryan Wesley Crabtree, 38, of Redkey, Indiana, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at his residence.

Ryan was born in Portland, Indiana, on Feb. 11, 1980, a son of Connie Rae Kaufman and Ruble McAllen Crabtree.

Ryan was a graduate of Eagle Crest Private School and worked as an avid tradesman. Ryan enjoyed fishing, working on motors and cars, his dogs, mudding in Laurel, Indiana, riding dirt bikes, his movie collection, and his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother, Connie Kaufman (boyfriend: James Everidge); father, Ruble Crabtree (girlfriend: Jean Walker); two brothers, Jason Crabtree (wife: Chris) and Shawn Crabtree (girlfriend: Amy Stout); four nephews, Jacob Crabtree, Michael Coleman Jr., Shawn Crabtree Jr. and Boyd Crabtree; and two nieces, Kaityn Crabtree and and Raelynn Crabtree.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 25, Redkey, IN.
