Linda Stafford

Linda L. Stafford, age 71, a resident of Pennville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Persimmon Ridge in Portland. 

Linda was born on Oct. 14, 1946, in Jay County, the daughter of John and Ruth (Wible) Stafford. She graduated from Pennville High School in 1964 and worked for Jay Garment in Portland and Home Health Care for many years. She attended Friends Church in Pennville.

Linda enjoyed flowers, gardening and trips to Goodwill and other used shopping stores. She loved all animals, especially cats. She enjoyed collecting glassware, especially blue glassware, and watching science fiction.

Her special friend — Chris Morgan, Pennville, Indiana 

Special cousins — Jerry Wible, Swayzee, Indiana, Chad Wible, Portland, Indiana, and Terry Wible, Michigan 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pennville Chapel of Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.
