It’s time to talk.
The first event in John Jay Center for Learning’s fall speaker series is slated for 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Michael Hicks, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research and the George and Frances Ball distinguished professor of economics at Ball State University, will speak about human capital and employment growth. He will discuss how education and worker training can be drivers for economic expansion.
The next presentation in the series will feature Portland’s Jim Waechter, executive director of the Delaware County Historical Society, on Sept. 20.
