Gary Prescott

Gary Allen Prescott, 78, of Union City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday Dec. 18, 2018, at Heartland Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.

Gary was born Nov. 1, 1940, in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Albert and Anna Preston Prescott. He retired from W&M Manufacturing in Portland and also worked at  Sheller-Globe in Portland and Union City Body Company. Gary was a member of Eagles, American Legion and Portland Moose.

Survivors include a daughter, Patrice (Bill) Nelson of Union City, Ohio; two grandchildren, Logan (Steve) Armstrong and Colyn Nelson; and a sister, Marlene Washler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Nancy Prescott; and two brothers, Norman and Jerry Prescott.

Services will be held at Reichard Funeral Home Inc. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at  10 a.m. with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery and the Rev. Sam Davenport officiating. Friends may call Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Reichard Funeral Home Inc.
