Criminal mischief
A Portland woman reported damage to her car Wednesday.
Mary C. Kellogg, who lives in the west 100 block of Second Street, told Portland Police Department she thought her car windows had been shot at with a BB gun.
Failure to yield
Two people were involved in a vehicle collision Wednesday in Bryant when one driver failed to yield.
Mary J. Meehan, 86, Fort Recovery, was driving north on U.S. 27 and had slowed down while turning east onto Wilson Street. Meehan said she used her turn signal, but Jeffrey A. Fear, 54, Montpelier, who was driving north behind her, didn’t see her stopping until it was too late. His 2000 International semi truck hit the rear of Meehan’s 1996 Cadillac DeVille.
Damage in the 12:30 p.m. collision is estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
