Maureen D. Grady, age 66, Portland, passed away Monday evening at her residence.
She was born Oct. 26, 1951, the daughter of Thomas and Laverne (Lynch) Bard. She was married Jan. 29, 1971, to Jack F. Grady who survives. She was a homemaker, member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and 1971 Portland High School graduate.
Surviving are her husband Jack; two sons, David Grady (wife: Maria) of Portland and Chris Grady of Portland; one brother, Robert Carl Patrick of Louisiana; two sisters, May Lou DeMardo and Delores Brinkerhoff Wright both of Chicago; two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends of many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Laverne Bard, and stepfather who raised her Robert Lewis Patrick.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Fr. Robert Moran presiding. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a scripture service at 6:45 p.m. Memorials can be made to the March of Dimes.
