Raymond White

Raymond White, 81, passed away on Thursday afternoon, Feb.1, 2018, at Golden Living Center, Muncie.
He was born on May 24, 1936, in Henry County, the son of Isaac Sr. and Mary Jane (Reeves) White, Sr. and attended Dunkirk schools. He earned his GED from American School in Chicago and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. On Sept. 30, 1956, in Dunkirk, he married Edna I. Stoner.
Raymond worked for Borg-Warner for 30 years until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of UAW, Eagles Aires #231, Destiny Christian Center of Muncie and the Horseshoe Club. He enjoyed country gospel music and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edna I. White of Redkey; three daughters,Suanna Campbell (husband: Kenneth) of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Patricia Wohlford (husband: Michael D.) of Wabash and Cynthia Hinds of Redkey; one son, Timothy White of Redkey; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Mark and Samuel Campbell, Rachel Carr, Michael W. and Celestia Wohlford, Luke Wilson and Victoria White; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rosemary Brown Lankford (husband: John) of Royerton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Wendell, Isaac Jr. and Noah White; and one granddaughter, Isabel White.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
