Hendrick, Hadlee and Harrison Neargarder

Hendrick Robert, Harrison Joseph and Hadlee May Neargarder passed away on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, shortly after their birth at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  

They were born the children of Stevie and Holly (DuJardin) Neargarder of rural Portland. 

Survivors include:

Their parents — Stevie and Holly Neargarder, rural Portland, Indiana 

Grandparents — Rick and Kathy Neargarder, Union City, Indiana, Don and Cindy Denney, Portland, Indiana, and Tom DuJardin, Portland, Indiana  

Great-grandparents — Steve and Marlene Neargarder, Union City, Indiana, Lois Jacobs, Portland, Indiana, and Janet Privett, Montezuma, Ohio 

Great-great-grandmother — Ruth Kemp, Portland, Indiana 

Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia, Indiana. 

Memorials may be directed to the Pregnancy Care Center or Jay County Special Olympics.
