God took Bill to his forever home on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017.
He was born on June 26, 1924, in Redkey to Harley and Luvona Rees.
Bill graduated from Redkey High School in 1942. He lived in Noblesville for 40 years.
On Nov. 11, 2000, Bill and Mary (Claycomb) were married in Redkey, where they lived their 17 years of marriage.
Bill was preceded in death by his first wife and a daughter. Cremation took place at Bill’s request.
Besides his wife, Mary, also surviving are two daughters, three sons, one stepdaughter and two stepsons. He also had 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan in Indianapolis.
Local memorial services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018. Family and friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. with services at 3 p.m. with Pastor Joe Hines and Pastor Hugh Kelly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
We wish to extend our gratitude to the Albany Health Care for the attention, love and care they provided to Bill in the three months he was there.
