Vehicles collide
Two vehicles were damaged in a collision Tuesday in the Walmart parking lot.
Eric L. Klarer, 39, Pennville, was backing his 2003 Ford F150 out of a spot at the store, 950 W. Votaw St., Portland. Ruth A. Degler, 77, Portland, was backing her 2003 Ford Windstar out of a spot opposite Klarer and didn’t see his vehicle. Degler struck the side of Klarer’s truck with the back of her Windstar.
Damage in the 2:05 p.m. accident is estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
Lost control
A Fort Recovery woman was injured Tuesday night when she lost control of the motorcycle she was driving.
Elizabeth A. Jutte, 28, was driving a 2003 Honda Shadow west on U.S. 26. As she approached the intersection with county road 800 East, she lost control of the motorcycle on loose gravel and it went into a ditch.
Jutte was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained minor injuries to her leg, but refused medical treatment.
The motorcycle is registered to Dawn B. Jutte, Fort Recovery.
Damage in the 7:06 p.m. accident is estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
