Historical Museum to be open on Saturday
The Jay County Historical Society Museum will have an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Also the annual picnic and monthly program meeting will be held on Tuesday.
The picnic will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the community is invited to come and bring a covered dish.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with Jane Spencer and Alice Paxson to discuss china painting and their recent visit to Vice President Mike Pence’s mansion in Washington, D.C.
The museum is at 903 E. Main St. in Portland.
