To the editor:
The 2018 Summer Reading Program, “Libraries Rock,” was a terrific success at Fort Recovery Public Library.
Thank you to all that made it possible for us to have a great summer. We are thankful for our many sponsors and volunteers that help us at the library.
Thank you to Fort Recovery Friends of the Library and Psi Iota Xi sorority for monetary donations that allow us to provide programming, activities, and prizes.
Thank you to Jessica Niekamp, Amy Pearson, Jenni Smith, Chris Wolterman, Hull Bros. Inc, K & L Tractor, Ambassador Pool and lifeguards, Miller’s Dairy Drive-In and Daniel Blake from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for donating their time and/or resources to the library.
There are also many businesses and organizations that donated prizes for the Summer Reading Program: COSI, Muncie Children’s Museum, Science Central, Walmart, Sauder Village, Newport Aquarium, Carillon Historical Park, African Safari Wildlife Park, Johnston Farm, Armstrong Air and Space Museum, Dayton Society of Natural History, Garst Museum, Kings Island, and The Beach Waterpark.
Thanks again to everyone that donated and participated.
