Don McGraw

Don R. McGraw, age 70, of Portland, passed away Wednesday evening in Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 9, 1948, the son of Richard and Mary (Bentz) McGraw. He was married March 30, 1974, to Sandy Miller, who survives.
He had worked for Williams Auto Parts for 42 years, Jay-Randolph Developmental Services for eight years and Lifestream for three years.
He was a member of Church of the Brethren and a little league baseball coach for 16 years, and was active in demolition derby, winning the Jay County Fair title in 1978.
Surviving are his wife Sandy; one son, Jason McGraw (wife: Jennifer) of Portland; four brothers, Mike McGraw (wife: Debbie), Robert Keller (wife: Benita), William McGraw and David McGraw (wife: Cindy), all of Portland; a sister, Patricia Miller, Portland; and one granddaughter, Alison McGraw of Portland.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 15, at 10 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin McClung presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
