Milk center
Walmart has opened a milk processing plant in Fort Wayne that will supply milk to all Indiana Walmart stores.
Gov. Eric Holcomb cut the ribbon Wednesday to open the plant, which started processing milk last week, according to The (Fort Wayne) Journal Gazette. Thirty farms will supply raw milk to the center, including Next Generations Dairy in Berne. The center will supply Walmart’s Great Value brand milk to 500 Walmart stores in five different states, including all of Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.
Construction began on the $165 million, 250,000-square-foot center in 2016, and the plant will add 300 new jobs.

According to the article, there are 40,000 items for customers to choose from. There is a service fee which is waived for the first three orders.
Chicken recall
Tyson Foods is recalling several thousand pounds of breaded chicken tenderloins.
The company announced last week it was recalling 260 cases, or 3,120 pounds, of the chicken after being notified by a supplier that an ingredient may contain plastic. The chicken, which was produced in May, was not sold in stores but was sold to foodservice customers.
The recalled product is labeled “Uncooked, Breaded, Original Chicken Tenderloins,” and was sold in 12-pound boxes containing 3-pound plastic bags of chicken. The lot code was 1378NLR02. It was shipped to Ohio, California, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan and Minnesota.
There have been no reports of illness so far from the chicken.
Tyson is the parent company of Tyson Mexican Original in Portland.

Ardagh is the parent company of glass factories in Dunkirk and Winchester.
Cash offer
Comcast has made a $65 billion cash offer for Fox assets, countering Disney’s previous offer.
Comcast made its bid Wednesday for the Universal movie studio, FX, 20th Century Fox, regional sports networks and a stake in British satellite
broadcaster Sky. In December, Disney made an $52.5 billion stock offer, which Fox’s shareholders were set to vote on July 10.
Biofuel access
As nationwide gas prices remain high, POET is calling on the Environmental Protection Agency to allow drivers to access a biofuel blend.
POET said the EPA should loosen its restrictions on access to E15, a 15 percent biofuel blend. It is currently available in 29 states at 1,300 U.S. locations, but regulations prohibit most drivers from using it for more than three months out of the year. Biofuel costs less because it is made with feedstock.
