Felony arrests
A Portland man was arrested Friday on for several drug-related charges, including dealing methamphetamine.
Galen L. Byers, 1006 S. Blaine Pike, was arrested on warrants for dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a Level 4 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor.
He was released Friday on a $50,000 bond.
Failure to appear
A Salamonia woman was arrested Friday for failing to appear in court.
Linda M. Rabinek, 29, 5739 E. 400 South, was arrested for failing to appear in court on two counts of unlawful possession of a syringe and two counts of possession of a narcotic drug, Level 6 felonies, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor.
She was booked at 7:15 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there without bond.
