Swiss Village will celebrate the longest day of the year on Thursday with the Summer Solstice.
Activities will be held to help raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research and the Swiss Village Music & Memory Program.
The Memory Care staff and others will walk around the campus from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Singles dance
The Darke County Singles Group will host a singles dance from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, at the VFW Post No. 7262 Ballroom, 219 N. Ohio St. in Greenville, Ohio.

Cruise-in
Union City Emergency Services will host a downtown cruise-in from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 in Union City.
There will be awards, including $25 cash for longest distance traveled and dash plaques. Entry fee is $10 and proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army.
