A new exhibit is coming to Arts Place in July.

Artist Nathaniel Foley says his Flight of Obscurity XVI exhibit “entices people’s curiosity and makes them contemplate the possibilities of physical space and time.”

The display will feature a maze of large, handcrafted sculptures that “communicate concepts rooted in aviation history through a visual language that references both travel and warfare by hand fabricating dynamic and iconic forms of light,” according to a press release.

Foley has taught at Miami University for several years. The exhibit will be on display July 11 through Aug. 19 at the Portland Center of Arts Place, 131 E. Walnut St.
