Tom and Sherry Weaver
Tom and Sherry Weaver, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Tom married Sherry Gullett on June 22, 1968, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Delaware County.
They both retired from the Jay School Corporation, Sherry as a bus driver and Tom as a teacher.
The couple are the parents of Todd Weaver (wife: Melissa), Fox Lake, Illinois, and Travis Weaver (wife: Holly), Portland. They also have six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
They plan to celebrate with a family dinner and a family trip to Kentucky in July.
